Just when you thought that was all to the previous post on Fishing in Sungei Petani, here’s more pictures as evidence of the wonderful time we had there.

Here is a picture of a double hookup for Kelvin and Liew. Double hookups happen on a regular basis, especially on the second day when the weather was drier and warmer!

Jimmy said I didn’t put up his picture in the last post, so here’s one of him with a nice juvenile Malaysian Barra!

Roy had a wonderful time too, landing lots of Barra on his 5wt rod!

Albert had a great time with his Camo Peacock Bass Abel reel serving him beautifully on this trip!

OK, this one was caught on spinning gear but I had to put it up just to show that woman can catch fish too! This was one trip where fly fishing outfish spinning and baitcasting outfit. In fact, some other anglers from another group were just wonder how we landed so many on fly when there were having a tough time on their spinning and baitcasting gear! I could have sworn that there were a few new converts to fly fishing on this trip!

Here is a beautiful shot of Mah and his leaping Barra. Despite his injured arm, his double handed spey rod outfished us all!
